6% Tax on Prepaid?

Thursday, September 8, 2011

As usual, issues after issues, haiz..

Unless u’re a goddamn buzy ass businessman like Steve Jobs or our very own Tony Fernandes, ur topup expenditure would be as follows:

Let’s say we spend an average of RM10 per week.

So the tax would be RM0.60 per week, which would amount to RM2.40 per months.

The conclusion, u would be contributing for the country fer RM2.40 per months. Tadaa, simple isn’t it?

Come onn, dun pretend like u dunno. U’re not mad because of the tax, u’re mad because somehow u think that government is taking away our money mercilessly. Betul atau tidak? Isu demi isu, jeez man, bosan la weh.

Now, here’s my suggestion:

1) Firstly, I disagree with the way the government imposes the tax. Shouldn’t they be deducting RM0.60 from the topup rather than + RM0.60 to it? To give coins to the cashier is a pain in the ass, xD

2) With this way, they would’ve confronted prepaid users with different psychology. Simple, u pay RM10, and u get RM9.40.

Conclusion:

1) People are overreacting, as usual.

2) When tax is imposed, it means that they’ve done the groundwork why it should be.

3) I’m not saying I agree with it, but guess what, we’re not the leaders.

4) And kalau x puas hati sangat, buat aduan, macam x biasa pulak? xD

5) Like I said in my facebook status, “peoples and curses.. ironically, some of them didn't even use their own money to pay the bills, it's their parents, shame shame”.

6) Unless u’re paying with ur own money, u dun have all the rights to complain. But friend, u’re still usin ur parent’s money, u’d better off complain to them first. =P

7) Yang kelakarnye, nanti mule la orang buat isu, “errr, kesian kt orang miskin, x pasal2 kene tax lebih”.

8) Let me tell u something, dun give me that bullshit, orang miskin, sah2 la topup pn jarang, kadang2 handphone pn takde. I’m not being mean, but that’s the reality.

9) Sendiri punye duit poket, pandai2 le manage sendiri.

10) And for some of the lower income group, cellphones are not necessity. cliche, but yes.

11) Dun go blaming people, pointing fingers, that’s so childish man, really.

12) Stop worrying too much about the world okeh? It’s not our final destination, =) Insyaallah.

Nota kaki: Aku sebulan topup 2 kali je, RM1.2 je per months, lol. Nanti mulela ade mulut2 yang membawa khabar, “alaa ko banyak duit bole la”. Guess what, i work my ass off for that money, how bout you?

but the question is, why should the tax be imposed now? esp after hp is becoming a necessity? r we being taken for granted? it's like using fon credits is harmful to the citizens (like cigarettes).

haha, tula, i pun x brape nk suke, but if it could help the country why not kan..

tapi rasanya i da silap, b4 this i thought it was gov tax, rupenye2 service tax, and it was Telco yg impose tax, the same kind when Astro did it.

it's just absurd that everyone is blaming the government. ntah le, tgk le ape nk jadi nanti, haha.
